Milk Education are the latest member of the HiveTree office in Newcastle. We find out a little more about their exciting business and catch up with key members of the team.

As a progressive, modern and tech-focussed company, Milk needed a suitable office in Newcastle. With our last remaining space on floor two of our Bigg Market development, the style suited Milk’s branding and vision perfectly. With the latest smart technology, individual kitchen and lounging area. The space is modern, stylish and a far cry from the regular boring office spaces.
We spoke to Emma Walsh – Group Operations Manager, and Andy Mitchell – Divisional Manager, to find out more about their new office in Newcastle.
Welcome to HiveTree! We love getting to know our new members and introducing them into our growing community. How are you settling in to your new office?
Andy – It is the perfect space to compliment our expansion into a new location – modern, fresh and unique. The HiveTree team have been incredible with their support. We got everything up and running and I’m genuinely excited to be part of this buzzing community!
Nice pun! What made you choose Newcastle as your latest location?
Emma – Milk Education is always looking to bring their fresh approach into new cities. And as Newcastle is regularly voted one of the UK’s best student cities, we felt it was a great place to establish ourselves. Especially for the next generation of NQT’s and teachers. We were approached by Andy, our new Newcastle Divisional Manager. The idea was to partner the set up, and here we are, welcoming Milk into the Cosmopolitan city of Newcastle!
What drew you to HiveTree?
Andy – It mirrors everything that Milk Education is about. Building on traditional foundations to provide a modern and progressive, five-star service to our schools and candidates. We pride ourselves on being different to other education recruitment agencies. Our approach to the sector and our new space at HiveTree allows us to express that with our very exciting working environment.
What’s next for Milk Education?
Andy – Here in the North East, we aim to become the most rewarding education recruitment agency. We will be working in partnership with as many schools as possible. To enrich the education of all pupils through the provision of exceptional teaching and support staff. While offering a very different and individual service to each of our clients. We’re not just here to be “another” agency. We’re here to make a genuine difference and I’m really excited for what is to come!
